Bowl Vent

Fig. 8 Fuel bowl vent adjustment:

1. With ignition switch in the off position, check to ensure fast idle adjusting screw is not in contact with fast idle cam.
2. Depress bowl vent valve stem and check clearance between stem and bowl vent valve lever, Fig. 8.
3. If clearance is not within limits, bend bowl vent lever as necessary. Use care not to bend accelerator pump lever.
