Ignition Control Module: Description and Operation

Ignition Control Module:

The ignition control module is a solid state module that receives and processes ignition reference signals from pickup coil in the distributor and, using that information interrupts the primary circuit triggering ignition coil output. Dwell is also automatically adjusted. The ignition control module is permanently sealed has no replaceable components.
