Emission Maintenance Reminder Indicator

The emission maintenance timer will illuminate an indicator lamp on the instrument cluster when vehicle mileage has reached 82,500 miles. At this time, the oxygen sensor and other scheduled emission maintenance is required. Refer to ``Maintenance Schedules" section for additional components.

If the timer should fail before vehicle has accumulated 82,500 miles, the timer and oxygen sensor should both be replaced to maintain a proper sensor replacement interval.
