Front

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove wheel and tire assembly, then raise front axle just enough to relieve weight from springs.
3. Loosen stabilizer bar link nut, then remove spring U-bolts.
4. Position spring tie plates aside, then remove bolt attaching front of spring to front shackle.
5. Remove bolt attaching rear of spring to frame, then remove spring.
6. Reverse procedure to install. When installing spring, do not tighten front and rear spring eye mounting bolts until after vehicle has been lowered. Torque U-bolt, front spring shackle bolt and spring to frame bracket bolt to specification.
