Models W/Selec-Trac

1. Raise and support front of vehicle.
2. Remove wheel and tire assembly, then remove brake caliper and rotor.
3. Remove cotter pin, nut lock and axle hub nut.
4. Remove steering knuckle-to-hub attaching bolts, then remove hub assembly and rotor splash shield from knuckle.
5. Remove lefthand axle shaft.
6. Disconnect vacuum hoses from shift motor.
7. Remove shift motor from axle, then remove righthand axle shaft.
8. Reverse procedure to install. Ensure righthand axle shaft is properly engaged with intermediate shaft and that shift collar is properly positioned. When installing shift motor, ensure shift fork engages shift collar, torque hub to knuckle attaching bolts to specifications.
