SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Some of the listed models build prior to 11-16-90, may have a rattle that is described as coming from the cowl, dash panel or toe board areas. This condition may be the result of the hood hinge pins rattling. This condition can be eliminated by installing the new style hood hinge.

PARTS REQUIRED:

2 Hinge, Hood 55074809


REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This procedure involves the replacement of the hood hinges.

1. Prime and color coat the new hinges.

2. Remove the hinges from the hood and discard.

3. Install the new hinges on the hood.

4. Touch-up the bolt heads as necessary.
