D. Reinstall Fuel Tank

1. Place fuel tank on top of the transmission jack and raise high enough to connect fuel lines and gauge wire to sending unit on top of the fuel tank.

2. Raise tank into position and connect the seven skid plate mounting nuts and tighten to 12 ft. lbs. Remove the transmission jack.

3. Connect vent hoses and fuel filler hose.

4. Install fuel filler neck shroud and push clips in to secure (Figure 1).

5. Lower vehicle from hoist.

6. Refill fuel tank and inspect all hoses and connections for leaks.

7. Connect negative battery cable.
