The main bearing journal diameter is identified by a color-coded paint mark located on the adjacent cheek toward the rear (flanged) end of the crankshaft,
except for the rear main journal mark which is located on the crankshaft rear flange. Color codes used to indicate journal and corresponding bearing sizes are listed in Fig.16 through Fig.19.

The connecting rod journal is identified by a color coded paint mark on the adjacent cheek or counterweight near the rear of the crankshaft. Color codes used to indicate journal sizes and corresponding bearing sizes are listed
