Transmission ID

MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS
^ The AX 4 and AX 5 transmissions are used in this application. The identification code numbers for these transmissions is on the bottom surface of the transmission case near the fill plug. the first number indicates year of manufacture. The 2nd and 3rd numbers indicate month of manufacture. The next series of numbers is the serial number.

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS
^ The 30RH transmission is used in this application. The identification numbers for this transmission is stamped on the left side of the case just above the oil pan gasket surface. The first set of numbers is the transmission part number. The next set of numbers is the date of build. The final set of numbers is the serial number.
