Instrument Cluster Hood and Mask

REMOVAL

WARNING: ON VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AIRBAGS, REFER TO AIR BAGS AND SEAT BELTS/AIR BAGS BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY STEERING WHEEL, STEERING COLUMN, OR INSTRUMENT PANEL COMPONENT DIAGNOSIS OR SERVICE. FAILURE TO TAKE THE PROPER PRECAUTIONS COULD RESULT IN ACCIDENTAL AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT AND POSSIBLE PERSONAL INJURY.


1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the instrument cluster as described. Instrument Cluster Replacement
3. Remove the cluster lens as described.

Instrument Cluster Components:

4. Work around the perimeter of the cluster depressing the snap clips that secure the cluster hood and mask to the cluster housing, and gently pull the hood and mask away from the cluster.
5. Reverse the removal procedures to install.
