Either Squib Term Shorted to Ground (Active)

SYMPTOM
EITHER SQUIB TERM SHORTED TO GROUND (ACTIVE)

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
With ignition ON, the driver airbag line 1 or line 2 circuit value is other than expected.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Active code present only with PAB ON/OFF SW OFF
- Driver AIRBAG line 1 or line 2 short to ground
- Clockspring short to ground
- Passenger airbag circuit line 1 or line 2 short to ground
- Passenger airbag ON/OFF switch verification
- ACM defective, passenger airbag circuit short to ground
- Passenger airbag ON/OFF switch defective
