Either Squib Terminal Shorted to Battery (Active)

SYMPTOM
EITHER SQUIB TERMINAL SHORTED TO BATTERY (ACTIVE)

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
With ignition ON, the driver airbag line 1 or line 2 circuit value is other than expected.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Active code present only with PAB ON/OFF SW OFF
- Driver airbag line 1 or 2 short to voltage
- Clockspring defective
- Passenger airbag line 1 or line 2 short to voltage
- Passenger airbag ON/OFF switch verification
- ACM defective, passenger airbag circuit short to voltage
- Passenger airbag ON/OFF switch defective
