Passenger Squib Circuit Shorted (Active)

SYMPTOM
PASSENGER SQUIB CIRCUIT SHORTED (ACTIVE)

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with ignition ON.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Active code present only with PAB ON/OFF SW OFF
- PAB line 1 short to line 2 passenger airbag to ON/OFF switch
- Passenger airbag line 2 short to driver airbag line 1
- Passenger airbag module shorted
- Passenger airbag line 1 & line 2 circuits shorted
- Passenger airbag ON/OFF switch verification
- ACM defective, passenger airbag circuit shorted
- ACM defective, passenger airbag line 1 shorted to line 2
- Passenger airbag ON/OFF switch shorted
