TRANSPONDER (CYCLIC REDUNDANCY CHECK) CRC FAILURE

TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test TRANSPONDER (CYCLIC REDUNDANCY CHECK) CRC FAILURE.

WHEN MONITORED
At ignition ON and during Key Programming Mode.

SET CONDITION
This condition exists when 5 consecutive transponder signal transmissions are sent to the SKIM with the correct message format but with invalid data.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Intermittent wiring harness problem
- SKIM/KEY defective
