SYMPTOM
P0523 OIL PRESSURE SENSOR VOLTS HIGH

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition ON and battery voltage above 10.4 volts.

SET CONDITION
The oil pressure sensor signal at PCM cavity B23 goes above 4.9 volts.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Wiring harness intermittent defect
- Oil pressure sensor ground circuit open
- Oil pressure sensor signal circuit open
- Oil pressure sensor signal circuit shorted to voltage
- Oil pressure sensor (high)
- Powertrain control module
