SYMPTOM
P1491 RADIATOR FAN CONTROL RELAY CIRCUIT

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition key ON and battery voltage greater than 10.4 volts.

SET CONDITION
An open or shorted condition is detected in the radiator fan relay control circuit.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Fused ignition switch output circuit open
- Radiator fan control relay
- Radiator fan relay control circuit shorted to ground
- Radiator fan control relay circuit wiring harness intermittent defect
- Radiator fan control relay circuit wiring harness observable defect
- Radiator fan relay control circuit open
- PCM
