Headlamp Relay: Description and Operation

HEADLAMP DELAY RELAY
The Headlamp Delay Module delays the de-activation of the headlamps for 45 ± 15 seconds after the ignition switch is turned OFF.

The vehicle operator initiates the headlamp delay module function by turning the ignition switch to the OFF position, then turning the headlamp switch OFF. The headlamp delay module is mounted to a bracket attached to the inside of the instrument panel.
