REMOVAL
The underhood lamp is installed on the hood inner panel The lamp illuminates when the hood is opened A switch that is integral with the lamp base controls the operation. The switch provides automatic ON/OFF functions each time the hood is opened and closed.
1. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the underhood lamp connector receptacle.
2. Remove the lens from the underhood lamp housing.
3. Remove the bulb from the underhood lamp housing.
4. Remove the screw that secures the underhood lamp housing to the hood inner panel.
5. Remove the underhood lamp unit from the hood inner panel.

INSTALLATION.
1. Position underhood lamp housing onto the hood inner panel. Be certain that the anti-rotation tab on the housing is positioned in the slot in the hood inner panel.
2. Install the screw that secures the underhood lamp housing to the hood inner panel.
3. Reinstall the bulb into the underhood lamp housing.
4. Reinstall the lens onto the underhood lamp housing.
5. Reconnect the wire harness connector to the underhood lamp unit connector receptacle.
