Rear Wiper Module Replacement
REMOVAL1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the rear wiper arm from the rear wiper motor output shaft. (Refer to REAR WIPERS/WASHERS/REAR WIPER ARM - REMOVAL).

3. From the outside of the liftgate, remove the rear wiper motor output shaft nut.
4. Pull the rear wiper motor output shaft bezel and rubber gasket away from the liftgate far enough to access and disconnect the washer supply hose from the barbed nipple on the back side of the bezel.
5. Remove the bezel and rubber gasket from the wiper motor output shaft.
6. Remove the trim panel from the inside of the liftgate.
7. Disconnect the liftgate wire harness connector for the rear wiper module from the module connector receptacle.
8. Remove the two screws that secure the rear wiper module mounting bracket to the liftgate inner panel.
9. Remove the rear wiper module and mounting bracket from the liftgate as a unit.

INSTALLATION
1. Position the rear wiper module and mounting bracket into the liftgate as a unit.
2. Install and tighten the two screws that secure the rear wiper module mounting bracket to the lift-gate inner panel. Tighten the screws to 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.).
3. Reconnect the liftgate wire harness connector for the rear wiper module to the module connector receptacle.
4. From the outside of the liftgate, position the rear wiper motor output shaft bezel and rubber gasket over the motor output shaft on the outside of the liftgate.
5. Reconnect the washer supply hose to the barbed nipple on the back side of the motor output shaft bezel.
6. Install and tighten the rear wiper motor output shaft nut. Tighten the nut to 3 Nm (27 in.lbs.).
7. Reinstall the trim panel onto the inside of the liftgate.
8. Reinstall the rear wiper arm onto the rear wiper motor output shaft. (Refer to REAR WIPERS/WASHERS/REAR WIPER ARM - INSTALLATION).
9. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
