POTENTIAL NUMBER OF UNITS AFFECTED: 149605

SUMMARY:
On certain passenger vehicles equipped with Valeo Heating, Ventilation And Air Conditioning (HVAC), the blower motor may overheat.

CONSEQUENCE:
This could cause an interior fire.

REMEDY:
Dealers will replace the HVAC blower motor free of charge. The recall is expected to begin during May 2007. Owners may contact DaimlerChrysler at 1-800-853-1403.
