SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Some customers may complain of a condition that feels like an irregular, very short, slight deceleration as if the vehicle is being "tugged" from behind. This condition exists between 1000 and 1600 rpm, 38 to 45 mph at constant speed. This condition will be more noticeable during a light acceleration within the 38 to 45 mph vehicle speed.

This new software update has removed 3rd gear partial lockup and raised the 4th gear full lockup speed to 50 mph.

NOTE:
Two PCM calibrations are available for this vehicle. Please review the flash description to ensure you are selecting the proper file for this condition.

DIAGNOSIS:
Using a Scan Tool (StarSCAN(R)) with the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures available in TechCONNECT, verify all engine systems are functioning as designed. If DTC's other then the ones listed above are present record them on the repair order and repair as necessary before proceeding further with this bulletin.
