Instrument Panel - Installation






INSTALLATION
1. Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions.

WARNING: Before servicing the steering column the airbag system must be disarmed. Failure to do so may result in accidental deployment of the airbag and possible personal injury.





2. Install the I/P assembly (1) into the vehicle and position onto the support hooks (4) and alignment pins (5).




3. Install the left side support bolts (4) and tighten to 21 Nm (15.5 ft. lbs.).

4. Install the center support bolt (3) and tighten to 21 Nm (15.5 ft. lbs.).




5. Connect the wire harness and ground (2) at the A-pillar.




6. Connect the main wire harness connectors at the driver's side cowl (2 - 5).




7. Position the center wire harness (1) and seat the push pin fasteners (3) fully.




8. Install the fence line bolts (2) and tighten to 21 Nm (15.5 ft. lbs.).




9. Connect the HVAC wire harness connectors (4 - 5).




10. Connect the radio antenna (2).

11. Install the passenger side silencer pad.




12. Install the passenger side support bolts (1) and tighten to 21 Nm (15.5 ft. lbs.).

13. Position the end cap (2) onto the I/P and seat fully.




14. Connect the A-pillar wire harness electrical connector (3).




15. Install the center I/P to HVAC screws (1).




16. Install the compass module on the top of the center I/P.

17. Install the radio.

18. Install the trim cover over the center bezel and seat fully.




19. Install the steering column reinforcement (1) and install the screws (2).

20. Position the steering column opening cover over the opening and seat the clips fully.

21. Install the passenger air bag.

22. Install the cowl side panels.

23. Install the shifter.

24. Install the floor console
