Installation

INSTALLATION




1. Install the latch and tighten the screws to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.).

2. Connect the electrical connector.

CAUTION: Make sure the latch wire harness is installed forward of the actuator rod.

3. Connect the actuator rod.




4. Insert a 5/32-inch hex-wrench through hole and into adjustment screw. Loosen screw.

5. Operate outside handle several times to release any restriction because of mis-alignment.

6. Tighten adjustment screw to 3 Nm (30 in. lbs.)

7. Test handle for proper operation.

8. Install the trim panel and waterdam.
