Instrument Panel Indicator Lamps Flicker

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves replacing the Body Control Module.

MODELS:

2006-2007 (KJ) Liberty

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Some customers may experience a brief indicator lamp flicker on the instrument panel periodically. Symptoms may include:

Cruise Lamp - brief flicker
Traction/ESP Lamp - brief flicker
Overdrive Lockout Lamp - brief flicker
Trans Over Temp lamp - brief flicker
Check Fuel Cap And Chime - brief flicker
Malfunction Indicator Lamp - brief flicker
Diesel Water In Fuel lamp - brief flicker
Tach - momentary spike in indicated RPM

DIAGNOSIS:

If the vehicle operator describes or experiences the Symptom/Condition, perform the Repair Procedure.

Using the procedures outlined in the Service Information on TechCONNECT, Section 8 - Electrical, 8E - Electronic Control Modules, Body Control Module, Removal & Installation, Install the Body Control Module listed in the "Parts Required Section".
