B2123-IGNITION RUN CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH
For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information Electrical Diagrams.
- When Monitored:
Continuously.
- Set Condition:
When the Cluster senses a high condition on the (F102) Ignition Run Relay Control circuit for over 10 seconds, this code will set.
1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. With the scan tool, record and erase DTCs
2. Cycle the ignition from on to off.
3. Turn the ignition on.
4. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display: B2123-IGNITION RUN CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
2. IGNITION RUN RELAY
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Install a substitute relay in place of the original Ignition Run Relay.
3. Cycle the ignition switch from off to on, leaving the ignition on for a minimum of 30 seconds.
4. With the scan tool, read the DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?
Yes
- Go To 3
No
- Replace the original Ignition Run Relay.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
3. JUNCTION BLOCK
NOTE: Perform this test with the relay removed.
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Disconnect the Junction Block C2 connector (on top of junction block).
3. From the Relay cavity 85, measure for voltage.
Is voltage present?
Yes
- Replace the Junction Block.
