Seat Back Recliner - Installation

INSTALLATION

OUTBOARD SEATS





1. Install the recliner and install the inboard seat back retainers (2). Reposition the seat back foam and seat cover as necessary.
2. Tighten the inboard seat back retainers to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.)





3. Install all the seat cover J-clips (1).





4. Install the bolts (1) and tighten to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.)
5. Install the bolt (3) and tighten to 14 Nm (10 ft. lbs.)





6. Install the seat side trim panel covers (1) and fully seat the retainer clips.
7. Rotate the seat back to folded position fully engaging the seat latches.





8. Install the seat back trim cover panel (1) to the seat back (2).





9. Install child safety tether bezel (2) and bezel fasteners (1).

CENTER SEAT





1. Install the recliner (1) and install the bolts (2).
2. Install the buckle bolt (3).
3. Install the floor mount bolts (4) and tighten to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
4. Tighten the buckle bolt to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.).
5. Tighten the recliner to seat cushion frame bolts (2) to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).





6. Install the seat back to the second row seat assembly and install the left side seat back fastener.
7. Tighten the left side seat back fastener to 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs).





8. Install the two right side seat back fasteners,
9. Tighten the 2 right side seat back bolts to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.)
10. Secure the seat back cover tab straps to the seat back frame.





11. Install the seat side trim panel covers and fully engage the retainer clips.
12. Rotate seat back down and fully engage the seat latches.





13. Install the seat back trim cover panel.
