B1D20-DRIVER MIRROR VERTICAL MOTOR CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH

- When Monitored:
Continuously.
- Set Condition:
When the Driver Door Module senses voltage present on the Driver Mirror Vertical Driver circuit, when there should not be, for over 10 ms., this code will set.
1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, record and erase the DTCs.
3. Turn the rear defogger ON.
4. Operate the Mirror Switch in all directions several times.
5. With the scan tool, read the DTCs.
Does the scan tool display: B1D20-DRIVER MIRROR VERTICAL MOTOR CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
2. TEST FOR A SHORTED MIRROR
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Disconnect the Driver Door Module C2 connector.
3. Turn the ignition on.
4. With the scan tool, record and erase the DTCs.
5. Turn the rear defogger ON.
6. Operate the Mirror Switch in all directions several times.
7. With the scan tool, read the DTCs.
Does the scan tool display: B1D20-DRIVER MIRROR VERTICAL MOTOR CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH?
Yes
- Replace the Driver Door Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
No
- Repair the mirror harness wires for a shorted condition or replace the Mirror.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
