B227E-ECU OVERTEMPERATURE

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the wiring information Electrical Diagrams.

- When Monitored:
At all times.

- Set Condition:
Whenever temperature on bus is out of range -45°C and 85°C ( -49°F and 185°F ).





1. CHECK FOR AMBIENT AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR DTCs.
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With a scan tool read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display any Ambient Air Temperature Sensor related DTCs?

Yes

- Testing and Inspection

No

- Go To 2

2. VERIFY DTC B227E-ECU OVERTEMPERATURE IS ACTIVE
1. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
2. Start the engine and allow the engine to reach normal operating temperature.

NOTE: The Sunroof should operate between -45°C and 85°C ( -49°F and 185°F ).

3. If the vehicle has been in the hot sunlight or extreme cold, move the vehicle indoors and open the doors to allow the inside temperature to stabilize.
4. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display: B227E-ECU OVERTEMPERATURE?

Yes

- Replace the Sunroof Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Test Complete.
