Power Seat Track - Removal

REMOVAL






WARNING: Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions Service Precautions .

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the head rests to ease with seat removal.
3. Remove the side shield (4) to expose the seat belt bolts.
4. Position the recliner lever up and remove the seat belt bolts (2) and seat belts (3)Seat Belt Retractor - Removal.
5. Slide the seats back and remove the front bolts (1).
6. Disconnect the electrical connectors (5).





7. Slide the seats to forward position and remove the rear nuts (1) and bolts (2).
8. Remove the seats from the vehicle.
9. Remove bolts attaching seat frame to cushion pan.
10. Disconnect wire harness fasteners from cushion pan.
11. Remove seat back.
12. Remove seat cushion tension springs.
13. Remove power seat track nuts.
14. Remove power seat track from riser.
15. Remove any parts that need to be transferred to the new seat track assembly.
