- When Monitored:
Ignition on. The Automatic Sway-Bar System (ASBS) Module monitors its internal microprocessors for correct operation.

- Set Condition:
If the Automatic Sway-Bar System (ASBS) Module detects an internal fault, the DTC is set.





AUTOMATIC SWAY-BAR SYSTEM (ASBS) INTERNAL FAILURE DTC PRESENT
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
3. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
4. Cycle the ignition switch.
5. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display ASBS INTERNAL FAILURE?

Yes

- Replace the Automatic Sway-Bar System (ASBS).
- Perform the ASBS VERIFICATION TEST. ASBS Verification Test.

No

- Perform the ASBS INTERMITTENT CONDITION TEST. . Testing and Inspection
