UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) sensor.
3. Remove air inlet resonator to throttle body hose assembly (1).





4. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the throttle body (1).
5. Disconnect the EVAP hose at the throttle body.





6. Remove the EGR tube (1).





7. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor (1).





8. Disconnect the PCV hose (1) from the upper intake manifold.





9. Remove the upper intake manifold bolts and remove the manifold.
10. Cover the lower intake manifold ports with a suitable cover while the upper manifold is removed.
11. Clean and inspect the upper intake manifold.
