SERVICE TIP:

CONDITION

Booming/droning type noise coming from roof area of vehicle at speeds over 40 mph.

CAUSE

One or both roof rack cross-bows installed backwards.

CORRECTIVE ACTION






Remove and reinstall cross-bows correctly as indicated in photos. The seam on the underside of the bows must be towards the front of the vehicle. The illustrations show correct orientation of the rack cross-bows.
