Suspension: Testing and Inspection

FRONT SUSPENSION
If a hard ride is encountered, the first items to investigate are: tire pressure, ride height, and shock absorber and coil spring assembly condition. If these items prove to be correct, the amount of friction in the front suspension should be inspected. If the above inspection fails to correct the problem, a complete visual inspection of the suspension should be made for obvious damage and/or items out of alignment.

REAR SUSPENSION
If a hard ride is encountered, the first items to investigate are: tire pressure, ride height, and shock absorber condition. If these items prove to be correct, the amount of friction in the rear suspension should be inspected. If the above inspection fails to correct the problem, a complete visual inspection of the suspension should be made for obvious damage and/or items out of alignment.
