Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone.

Rear

The rear wiper motor and rear washer motor both have battery voltage from the rear washer fuse applied to them when the wiper switch is closed. Ground is applied to the wiper motor, powering it at a single speed. Once operating, the wiper motor will also have ground available to it through its own motor switch. When the wiper switch is opened, the wiper motor will continue to operate until the wiper reaches the park position, at which point the motor switch will remove ground. The washer switch will apply ground to the washer motor, powering it as long as the switch is held closed.
