TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

CYLINDER HEAD BOLT





Tighten the cylinder head bolt in the picture using the so-called special tool "head bolt wrench".

INTAKE MANIFOLD





After replacing the intake manifold gasket, install the surge tank tightening the specified torque.

CAMSHAFT BEARING





Tighten the bearing cap in two or three steps. Tighten it to the standard torque at the last stage.

MAIN BEARING
Caps should be installed with the arrow mark directed toward the front of the engine. The cap number sequence must be correct.
Tighten all cap bolts to the specified torque shown in the picture.
Tightening torque
Main bearing cap bolt 68.6 - 78.5 Nm (700 - 800 kgf-cm, 50.6 - 57.9 ft. lbs.)
Cap bolt should be tightened to specified torque in 4-5 steps before being tightened to the specified torque.

WATER PUMP





After installing a new water pump gasket and water pump assembly, tighten it to the specified torque.

OIL PUMP





Install the upper oil pan and tighten the bolts to the specified torque. Tighten the oil pan bolts.





Install the lower oil pan and tighten the bolts to specified torque.
