Non-Trouble Code Procedures
STALL TESTTEST PROCEDURES
1. Check the engine oil level. Replenish if necessary.
2. Warm it up until ATF reaches 70 - 80°C (158 - 176°F) after approximately 10 minutes of driving. Replenish if necessary.
NOTE: When ambient temperature is 20°C (68°F), fluid temperature reaches 70 - 80°C (158 - 176°F) after approximately 10 minutes of urban driving.
3. Securely engage the parking brake so that the tires do not turn.
4. Start the engine. Depress the foot brake. Move the select lever to "D" range.
5. Gradually depress the accelerator pedal while depressing the foot brake.
6. Quickly read the stall speed. And quickly remove the feet from accelerator pedal.
CAUTION: Do not depress the accelerator pedal for more than 5 seconds during test.
7. Move the select lever to "N" range.
8. Cool down the ATF.
CAUTION: Run the engine at idle for at least 1 minute.
