Description
This service bulletin provides information related to the right and left power sliding door switches. Some 2006 Sedona vehicles produced from 2/17/06 5/8/06, equipped with power sliding doors may experience the power sliding door switch sticking in the depressed position, especially in higher temperatures. This may cause parts of the switch to expand and not leave sufficient clearance for the switch to return to the normal rest position.
Kia is replacing both the left and right power door switches on all affected vehicles within the specified production range.
Vehicles Affected
2006 Sedona EX models with power sliding doors produced between 2/17/06~5/8/06.
