General Description

FAM is a component of BCM that consists of DDM, ADM, FAM, RAM, IMS and cluster module. Each component of BCM controls relative unit and share information by CAN communication line.FAM is abbreviation of Front Area Module. it is located in the engine room and controls wiper and all kinds of lamp (Head lamp,tail lamp,stop lamp, turn signal lamp etc.), Beside that, FAM performs diagnosis of system.

DTC Description

The ECM sets DTC B1624 if there's any fault in writing/reading FAM EEPROM data procedure.
