General Description
Shift motor is used to change working range of transfer by utilizing Auto/low selection switch.
AUTO ->LOW Mode : 05, 12 terminal B (+), 04, 11 terminal (Ground)
LOW -> AUTO Mode : 04, 11 terminal B (+), 05, 12 terminal (Ground)
Position incoder provides feedback from the shift motor to the TCCU. 4 switch signals, from encoder, provide information on rotational direction and location of shift motor. The MPS (Motor Position Sensor) receives 5 volts from the TCCU. In cases where the mode switch is changes; the shift motor operates, and MPS contact point creates an ON/OFF signal. When 5 volts is received by the TCCU, it monitors operation of shift motor.
DTC Description
If the shift motor has not reached its destination within 5 seconds, a shift system time out is reported. A resulting corrective action shift is performed.
