General Description

HUB SOLENOID VALVE is also called FRRD (Free Running Differential) FRRD allows drive change between 2WD and 4WD It consists of an air-pump and actuator controlled by TCCU The air-pump, which includes an internal pressure switch, supplies compressed air to FROD [< Is this FROD or is it supposed to be FRRD (Free Running Differential) ? ? ? (See next sentence, too) When compressed air is supplied to FROD, power is transferred to front wheels by engagement of internal dog clutch.






DTC Description

This trouble code is set when Hub Solenoid circuit is open or short to ground.
