Replacement

[USA]
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the crash pad lower panel.

3. Disconnect the 5P connector of the Immobilizer unit and then remove the Immobilizer unit (A) after loosening a bolt.




4. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure.

[CANADA]
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the crash pad lower panel.

3. Disconnect the immobilizer unit connector and then remove the immobilizer unit(A) and bracket after loosening a shear bolt or removing the unit from the mounting bracket (B) using a flat-up screwdriver.

NOTE:
- When removing the shear bolt, punch the shear bolt using a centering punch.
- And drill its head off with a drill bit.
- Be careful not to damage the SMARTRA unit.




4. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure.
