General Description

The ECM uses the Stop Lamp Switch signals to know when the brake pedal is pressed. One signal is high while the other is low. The signals switch when the pedal is depressed. This information is needed for the transmission and Cruise Control systems

DTC Description

When both Stop signals are high or low for 1 second, the ECM will set P0504.
