Component Inspection

Check rear wiper
1. Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF"
2. Disconnect rear wiper motor.
3. Measure the resistance between rear wiper motor signal circuit connector terminal (R16-3) and ground circuit connector terminal (R16-1).
A. Specification : Infinity Ohms




4. Is the measured resistance within the specification?
YES
1) Go to "Check RAM".
NO
1) Repair open in signal circuit and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair".
Check RAM
1. Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF"
3. Check if DTC is erased after replacing RAM with "RAM for test".
4. Is the DTC erased?
YES
1) Replace "RAM for test" with "new RAM" and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair".
NO
1) Check connecting condition of connector and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair".
