Component Inspection

1. IG "OFF" & ENG "OFF"
2. SHIFT MOTOR connector : Disconnect.
3. Measure resistance between terminal 6 & 7. (Component side)
A. Specification : Approx 0.78±0.078 Ohms.





CAUTION:
The above value is only for reference. The data from vehicle may differ from it according as various vehicle condition. This inspection is for checking open or short of Shift Motor.

4. Is resistance display near the specified value?
YES
1) Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration or damage.
2) Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
1) Check "Shift Motor" for contamination, deterioration or damage.
2) Substitute with a known-good "Shift Motor" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "Shift Motor" and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
