Monitor Scantool Data

1. Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
3. Monitor the "ECTS" parameters on the scantool.




As the engine warms up, the ECTS signal will show the temperature continue to increase until the engine reaches operating temperature. The IATS temperature may increase some as the engine warm up but very little compared to the coolant temperature.
4. Is parameter displayed within specifications?
