Repair Procedures

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the floor console upper cover

3. Remove the seat warmer switch module (A).




4. After removing the screws, remove the center fascia panel (A).




5. After removing the screws, remove the heater control module (A).




6. Remove the audio assembly (A) after loosening the mounting screws.




7. Disconnect the audio connectors and cable (A), then remove the audio unit





NOTE:
When the compact disc is not ejected, do not remove it forcibly.

Installation

1. Connect the audio unit connectors and cable.
2. Install the audio unit.
3. Install the heater control module.
4. Install the center facia panel.
5. Install the seat warmer switch module.
6. Install the floor console upper cover.
7. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

NOTE:

A. Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
B. Check the audio system.

Disassembly

1. When removing the CD ROM drive, remove the screws (4EA) on the head unit and, and then remove the top cover (A).




2. After removing the screws, remove the front cover (A).




3. Remove the connectors (A).




4. After loosening the screws (4EA), remove the CD ROM drive (A).
