Introduction Of One Click Fuel Cap For All Kia Models

Beginning with August 2009 production on 2010 model year vehicles and November 2009 start of production for the 2011 Sorento, Kia is introducing an all new design fuel cap which is referred to as a "One Click" fuel cap. This cap features a newer design handle for better feel during tightening and a positive thread stop which produces one click upon reaching its full travel instead of the several clicks heard on the previous fuel cap design.

NOTE:
The click is much quieter then the previous model fuel cap and the cap will not continue to turn after the click is heard. This is normal and indicates that the cap is functioning properly.
