1990-1991 ECU UPGRADE ACTION: CALIFORNIA VEHICLES

The "Check Engine" light is designed to inform the driver of an engine management problem which could adversely affect emissions. On 1990 and early 1991 Range Rover vehicles, it is possible that a fault code can be displayed and the light illuminated where no fault exists.

An updated program for the ECU has been developed and is "on-line" at the Factory.

Certain Dealer stock units are to be upgraded to current production specification. Current and future shipments of new vehicles will not require modification.
