DETAIL

A small number of left hand drive vehicles may have been dispatched from Land Rover with the main harness incorrectly routed in the area of the left hand "A" post. The harness may have been routed in-board of the lower "A" post trim panel and in some cases in-board of the bonnet release cable. In either case it will be necessary to inspect and re-route the harness following the instructions listed in this bulletin.

ACTION REQUIRED

At the first opportunity, Pre-Delivery Inspection or 1000 mile service, check the routing of the harness in the left hand "A" post region and re-route as necessary.

PARTS INFORMATION

PROCEDURE

1. Open the left hand front door and check the routing of the harness in the footwell to ensure that it is located behind the lower "A" post trim panel.
2. If the harness is routed in front of the trim panel inspect for damage to the wiring and repair as necessary.

3. If the harness is routed in-board of the bonnet release cable, disconnect the bonnet release and reroute in-board of the harness. (Refer to illustration).
