After reviewing claims for Defender 90 convertible top repair it has come to our attention that, in many instances, complete tops (part number LRNA71700) are being utilized when specific parts nee only be replaced. For your convenience listed above are the various part numbers available for the Defender 90 convertible top and their description and care points to be followed when working on Defender 90 tops. For future repairs please ensure that only the necessary parts are replaced when needed.

Please note to ease installation and ensure a smooth fit the convertible top should only be installed at temperature above 72°F. Below this temperature the convertible top may contract an inch or more, making installation extremely difficult with the possibility of damage to the replacement top.

Also care should be taken when applying force to the pull tabs. They are not designed to be used with any sort of hand tool, i.e. pliers or vice grips. Use of these pull tabs with extreme force could result in damage to the convertible top.
